The following instrument is finished in one of Fenders rarest and most desired custom colours that has been favoured by a number of artists inc Eric Clapton , details as follows 

History 

The instrument was purchased new 1958 by the guitarist in the band the Silver Tones in its original factory black finish, based on playing and performance wear during the 1950s and the owners  desire to keep the instruments fresh, new appearance he later returned the instrument to Fender in the early 1960s to have the body refurbished, repainted over its original 58 Factory finish.
