History
When Jeff Beck dropped out a tour in the US, Becks manager, Peter Grant persuaded the promoters and venue owners to take on his new band ‘Led Zeppelin’ as a replacement for The Jeff Beck group. For the tour Led Zeppelin were offered an endorsement deal with US Guitar company Rickenbacker who wanted to promote their new line of TRANSONIC amplifiers designed by Bob Rissi.
